We are proud to announce the launch of our eBay Software for Sellers. This tool will track all of the vitals, from your current inventory, to the sales that you’ve completed.
This is completely free to use for existing members, and will work inside your current membership plans. Let’s get into how this software works.
Note; if you sell regularly on eBay, this eBay Profit Software will save you so much time, and help you to track how much profit you’ve made on eBay.
Because let’s be honest, it can be quite hard to track how much money you have made. eBay have some hidden fees, and if it’s a GSP Sale, it can get even harder to understand.
eBay Profit Tracking Tool
Our eBay Profit Tracking tool is exactly that. We have created seller dashboards, which allows you to see all of the vital data about your eBay store.
From Inventory Management, to Sales Data we show you exactly what data matters to you.
When you first log into your Sellerfuse account, you’l see the Reselling & Flips section. This contains your eBay Dashboards.
For now, we have separated this into eBay Hub and eBay Sales. As we develop more features, you may see more pages added.
The eBay Hub, pictured above, contains key data about your store. We Track:
- Inventory Value – We capture the Buy it Now Price of your stock, and provide you a live value
- Active Listings – we capture all of your listings and provide you with this. We even track how many listings you are adding on a weekly basis.
- Pending Orders – If you have a sale which hasn’t been despatched, it will show in the pending orders section. We also show how many orders in total you’ve had in a given week.
- Feedback Score – This is in final test now, and will display your live feedback score.
- Total Sales – We advise you how much you have earnt in sales, for any given year you select.
- Cost of Goods Sold – We provide you with an overall figure of the price you paid, for the items that you have sold. In addition to this, we show you how many items need you to add COGs to.
- Total Profit – we calculate all fees, cost price, sale price & then provide you with your overall profit figure. We do the same for Return on Investment
- Total Payouts – we track all of your ebay payouts, and let you know how much you’ve received from eBay
- Estimate Tax Bill – We provide you with a base tax rate of 20% which is then applied to your profit. This is a very rough estimate, and we advise you to contact an accountant.
So, there’s quite a lot to unpack there, and that’s just the top few cards. To make it as easy as possible, we have provided the key data here at the top, easy to read.
We know that eBay sellers are now more concerned than ever about their Tax responsibilities, with the start of the Side Hustle Tax. If you earn more than £1,000 in sales, which I think 99% of resellers will, then you will be subject to this tax. Our eBay Profit Tool helps out in this instance, letting you know when you’ve hit over £1,000 in sales and also giving you an insight into your expected tax commitments.
Obviously, you will need to consult a Tax expert on this matter, as we simply provide an estimate.
Ebay Sales Tracking Tool
The eBay sales tracking tool is where the magic starts to happen. We have two cards, showing your recent ebay orders and your ebay inventory.
This card is located in your eBay Hub & provides you with your latest 10 ebay sales. If you want to see more than this, we have added a View all Orders button so you can see everything.
In the recent eBay Orders you can see a full breakdown and even see the amount of profit that you have received for a sale.
We track the Cost of Goods Paid, any Fees from eBay, Shipping Label Costs & Advertising Fees that are paid to eBay. What remains is your profit, to keep or re-invest.
We also display your eBay Inventory, but admittedly, there’s little that you can do with this information & you can see this on ebay anyway. So, we just show you the Top 10 Priced items in your stock, and provide you with a picture too.
eBay Profit Tracker Software: Supplier Data
The next part of data inside the eBay profit tracker, is the Supplier Data. We provide you with the option to manage your supplier data. This is a process where you enter the Supplier Data into the sale, which we have a tutorial for later.
We show you Most Used Suppliers, Most Profitable Stores and Most Used Couriers too. The couriers adds minimal value, but it’s a fun stat to view really. The other two points are important.
The Most Used Suppliers will track your spend by supplier, and your most profitable stores will show you how much money you’ve made from each supplier.
To top things off, we then provide a breakdown into 2 charts, eBay Sales Chart & eBay Profit Chart which provides you a monthly breakdown of your sales performance.
If you hover over each month, you’ll see your live data for that specific month.
eBay Pre-Order Tracking Tool for Resellers
The Final section on the eBay Hub is the Pre-order section.
We know that pre-orders are a huge part of the game when reselling. You have to buy stock, months in advance in many cases.
How are you supposed to remember what you’ve pre-ordered, when you ordered it & where from?
With the pre-order tracking tool, that’s how!
To create a pre-order note, you simply enter the Item Name, Supplier, Purchase Date and amount. You can then add any additional notes inside here, we recommend anything from release date, to email account you purchased from (if you run multiple emails it can get hard, so this takes the burden away).
eBay Profit Tool Free Trial
New members can receive a 7 Day Free Trial of the eBay profit tool, which will help you see what this tool can do.
We’ve even made things a bit simpler. If you only sell on eBay, then you can opt for the Essential subscription which makes the monthly cost £19.99 instead of £29.99. But you do not get Amazon with that, so stick with Advanced if you’re doing Amazon FBA.
How to Add Data to the eBay Sales Tracker
To add the sales data to your eBay sales tracker, you need to navigate to the ebay sales section. This is the key data in the backend, which helps us to calculate your profit.
When you load up the Sales Hub, you will find all of your sales listed in this view like above. Note, due to eBay’s policy, we are unable to pull aged orders images, so only orders from the date that you signed up to Sellerfuse, will display an image.
To Enter your cost of goods, click the £0.00 which will then open up a form where you can enter the cost. This is the price that you paid for the item. If you paid for Postage & Packaging too, ensure that you put the full landed cost in here.
If you purchase the shipping label from eBay, we will pull that information too. We pull the Shipping Label cost, and the Tracking Number saving you admin time.
Note; we recommend that you always buy labels from eBay. The cost for the label comes out of the held funds from sale, so you don’t have to spend money and then wait for it to hit your account. In addition this, it makes your admin easier!
You will see that the Ferrari Monza shirt above has £0.00 fees. This isn’t an error, as clothes have a limited edition 0% promotion on eBay.
Finally, we recommend you to enter the supplier. Over a long period of time, you will be able to see exactly how profitable certain suppliers are for your business. If you have a consistent loser, or low ROI item, then you get an insight to maybe stop purchasing from this supplier, or at least stop buying that line of goods.
I had this myself in the past, earlier in the year. One Piece was a really good seller. They re-printed their valuable sets, and the ROI dropped significantly. This sales hub helped me to make an informed decision not to purchase any more OP products, after the OP-05 release.
If you don’t buy your shipping label from eBay, you can still input this information manually, like you do with the cost of goods figure.
Remember, if you’re new to Sellerfuse you can get a 7 day free trial.
