How to Use the Ticket Reseller Tool Software

We support sellers of all types, including Ticket/Event Resellers. We are proud to have released the first ticket reseller tool allowing users to track their profits, alongside their Amazon FBA & eBay sales.

And Just like other Amazon FBA Sellers, this is unlikely to be your first side hustle, with many other FBA sellers having started out as Resellers.

Today we are focusing on another type of reseller, Ticket Resellers. All type of resellers cause some controversy, but Ticket Sellers are often at the top of this list.

The thing is, Ticket Reselling is extremely profitable. If it’s legal, why shouldn’t you make money from it?

This is where we can formally introduce the Ticket Reselling Hub as another feature which ‘fuses‘ into your memberships, remember we are constantly rolling out new features and updates that you don’t pay any extra for.

This Ticket Reselling Hub does absolutely everything that the name suggests. But we’ve spent weeks fine-tuning this to ensure it supports you fully, so let us explain in depth.

What is the Ticket Reselling Hub?

The Ticket Reselling Hub is our latest addition, which caters for Ticket Touts, part-time ticket sellers, or anyone else who has sold a ticket and wants to see their P&L.

It currently consists of Three Components, but we have even more plans to introduce a few charts soon.

  • Your Ticket Reselling Journey
  • Ticket Sales Tracker
  • Your Tickets Data

Your Ticket Reselling Journey

Your Reselling Journey will document the key metrics that you need to view, at a glance. This will save you from wasting time looking through excel spreadsheets, emails and more.

It will show your Lifetime Ticket Spend, which is the amount that you’ve spent on your tickets since your reselling journey began. Alongside that, you’ll see your Total Sales and your Total Profit Figures.

You’ll then be notified if you have any Unsold Tickets, or Tickets which need uploading this month. This will give you all of the information you need at your fingertips, and really speed up your processes.

We created this, as we are ticket sellers too. Or at least, we were. Since starting Sellerfuse, our priorities have shifted and we are now fully focused on making this app perfect for you.

When selling tickets, we used this tool, but a more toned down version of it. We anticipate other Ticket Sellers to enjoy this tool, as it’s the first of it’s kind and although biased, we think it’s the best tool for ticket sellers to track their profits.

The Ticket Sales Tracker compliments your analytics, rounding it off to provide you with a live figure of your pending payouts.

This updates as you sell tickets, so you can see exactly how much you’re due to be paid. (It looks really good too, when you’ve got a lot waiting to be paid out!).

Viewing Your Tickets Data

The tickets data section is the glue that holds your data together. It will contain all of your ticket purchases, with very important information and features to be aware of.

Your tickets will be listed in Event Data order by default, this is for ease of use. Dates are incredibly important, so we sort them this way to stop you missing a deadline for sending tickets.

We’ve created some handy little filters, which will help you to search for the exact ticket statuses you require.

Are you looking for tickets you haven’t yet sold? You don’t want to waste time scrolling through 26 pages, instead, just select the Unsold filter.

We’ve got many other filters too:

  • Upcoming. When you select this filter, you’ll see any events that are taking place at any point in the future. It’s very useful to check your schedule in one click.
  • Delivered. This will show you tickets that you’ve already delivered to the buyer.
  • Undelivered. This will show tickets that have sold, but are yet to be delivered. It’s probably the most important filter, you don’t want to miss out on sending your tickets and that’s why this is so effective.
  • Past Events. This filter is active just to let you check in on your past events. It helps us to generate your profit figures too, so you can track how much money you’ve made.

Next to the filters, you’ll find a search bar. Here, you can type in the Artist or Booking Reference, and you’ll see the exact results that you wanted to see.

We also offer you the ability to Import & Export your records, so if you need to pass this onto your accountant, or you just want to keep it for your own records, well you can!

Your Tickets – The Table of Results

Now we get onto the exciting part, your actual tickets! We’ve created a table to help you view all of the information easily.

Here you will find Event Details, such as the Artist, Number of Tickets, Arena and the Type of Ticket.

Next, you’ll be met with Important Dates. This is for you to list the Date of the Event, followed by the Upload by Date. This is important, so we can send you reminders that you need to upload your tickets.

Your Total Cost column will contain the total booking cost, and not the price per ticket. We can add Price Per Ticket if you’d like to see this data, but our testers didn’t see that it gave any added insights.

The Booking Reference will show next, and this is important. Not only is this a search function within the Tickets Hub, you’ll be able to use this booking reference when searching emails.

You’ll be selling tickets that you may not receive for 6+ months, so having the booking reference will be very useful.

Your Sold & Remaining columns are up next. This runs on a Traffic Light system, where if you see red text, it means you haven’t yet sold out of tickets.

If you do have tickets remaining, it will tell you exactly how many you have remaining here.

If you see Green, your sale has been locked in and you need to deliver the tickets, or wait for the payout.

Once you record a sale the Payout, Profit & ROI figures will generate & you’ll be able to see how much money you have made.

How to Log a New Ticket Purchase

Logging a new ticket couldn’t be much easier. We’ve spent hours reducing the time it takes to log a ticket, whilst allowing for the right amount of information to be generated for your records.

We think we’ve perfected it now, so let’s show you how to get on with it.

At the top of your table, you’ll see a small sub-heading section which says ‘click here to log your ticket‘. When you click that, it will drop down an input form, and this is where you enter the data.

Don’t worry if you haven’t sold any tickets and it shows a loss, you can still click continue. Effectively, if you haven’t sold any, they are a loss at the moment.

How to Edit a Listing as Sold

It’s incredibly easy to list you tickets as sold. We know that sometimes you might not be able to sell all tickets at once, so our Tickets Hub supports you by allowing a single ticket sale, or partially fulfilled orders.

You’ll see this on your account where it says Tickets Remaining. However, here we are looking at how you mark the listing as sold.

If you click the Edit button, you’ll see a popup window which is the form for editing your ticket. Here you can make changes to your tickets, and also mark them as sold.

If you’ve sold 1 out of your 4 tickets, simply mark the Quantity Sold as 1. The system will automatically know that you have 3 tickets remaining.

Next, you’ll be able to select which marketplace you sold the ticket on. Viagogo and Stub Hub are the main ones, but there’s also Ticombo, Lysted and so much more.

You should also adjust your income, which will adjust your profit figures. Selling one out of four tickets you’re likely to be at a loss, but this will all change once you’ve sold 3 or 4.

Once you’ve finished, simply update the form and it will close. Your figures will then be updated.

It’s as easy as that.

How to Mark an Event as Delivered

The final part of your journey will be marking the event as delivered.

To do this, you’ll need to press the Edit button once more. From here, you’ll see a large Mark as Delivered button. Once you’ve pressed this, the form will update once more and the event will be marked complete.

Next, you just need to wait for the money to be paid into your account. We don’t have any control of that though, so that’s with you!

That’s how our Tickets Hub works. It’s really simple to use. If there’s anything else you’d like to know, or feature that you’d recommend… just let us know!
